Conspiracy Realist
The relationship between the Department of Homeland Security, ICE, and Palantir did not begin in 2025.
It began in 2011, when Palantir embedded itself within Homeland Security Investigations, supplying DHS with tools to track flights, scan driver’s license data, and map human movement through cell phone records. This was before data mining had a name, and decades before the public understood that their private lives were being fused into searchable systems.
Even now — for many — that understanding has never really arrived.
In 2014, ICE first contracted with Palantir Technologies. This contract gave them $41 million to build ICE an ‘Investigative Case Management’ (ICM) system. That decision cemented what is now a fifteen-year relationship, one that has survived multiple presidencies, and has been alive nearly long enough to vote.
Twilight of the Shadow Government, by Kevin Shipp and Kent Heckenlively, is a notable and provocative contribution to the limited body of literature critical of the Central Intelligence Agency. Its significance rests largely on Shipp’s background: he is a former CIA officer who served for approximately seventeen years in senior roles, making him a rare example of a high-level insider willing to publicly criticize the agency.
Shipp’s career reportedly ended after he attempted to alert superiors to a vulnerability that he believed endangered CIA assets. According to his account, his concerns were unwelcome, and the agency retaliated in ways that placed both him and his family at risk, ultimately resulting in his forced departure from the CIA. While readers must evaluate such claims carefully, his narrative is detailed and internally consistent, lending it a degree of credibility.
Conspiracy Realist: someone who fails to cower in fear when described as a conspiracy “theorist”.
This author believes there is not one person in America who believes all the lies told to them over the past 62 years. Regardless of political persuasion (left, right, independent, religious, atheist, ) America has been lied to consistently and thoroughly during my lifetime. It is easy to point to the government, but the lies specifically originate at the Central Intelligence Agency, since they are behind most of the nefarious activity of the American Empire. We are all Conspiracy Realists. It is becoming clear that there is another factor behind the deception. Let me explain.
With gabapentin risks back in the news and Trump’s friendship with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla reportedly behind new drug pricing agreements, it’s time to revisit questions about the drug, the company and its misleading marketing.
Two Neurontin Widows
After years of silence, two women who say their doctor husbands died from taking Neurontin (gabapentin) spoke out.
What began as something personal and private in their lives became a call for social justice, awareness and protecting the health and safety of others both women, Debbie Alsberge and Robin Briggs, told a reporter.
VANG VIENG, Laos -- The Central Intelligence Agency's "secret war" in Laos ended 50 years ago, silencing Lima Site 6 and other isolated airstrips which helped the U.S. carpet bomb this tiny impoverished nation during the regional Vietnam War.
Lima Site 6, set among Vang Vieng's jagged karst mountain peaks, is now a deserted stretch of black asphalt speckled with squashed trash, 90 miles (150 kms) north of Laos' capital Vientiane.
Debris on the airstrip's gravelly surface includes empty plastic waterbottles, a dirt-stained cotton medical mask, and a faded Queen of Spades.
The strip resembles an empty urban parking lot stretched into the exaggerated rectangle which allowed Air America to land and take off amid the karst peaks.
During the 1961-1975 war, the CIA's Air America flew thousands of flights each day, lifting off from more than 200 scattered covert Lima Sites -- military code for unimproved "landing strips."
Those planes transported Americans, Thais, and U.S.-led minority tribal Hmong mercenaries alongside the dead and wounded, plus "hard rice" -- ammunition -- and refugees.
It has been another exciting week in and around Washington. The murder of Charlie Kirk has produced speculation that has resulted in all the loonies and haters coming out from their various hidey-holes. This has inevitably included the chorus of knuckleheads that makes up the Donald Trump cabinet. Since Kirk’s death, Republican conservatives have called for a crackdown on the left, though it is by no means clear that any identifiable left-of-center group was in any way implicated in the killing.
Of all the terrible people Orange King Trump chose to help him destroy America, I thought, and have written, that RFK Jr was the least of our problems. I agree with Kennedy that America's population is not healthy. Living in Thailand reinforces that observation. As a Pharmacist (now retired) I am very aware that Americans are over medicated and overweight. Of particular concern are antidepressants, ADHD meds, opiods, and cholesterol lowering statins. Kennedy has correctly (and clumsily) identified that Americans suffer disproportionately from autoimmune diseases.
It has been well established that Israel and the US are partners. What is not well understood is the square-dance-like sequence, the deadly do-si-do, the back and forth of that partnership,
Involving 9/11, the US and Israel aligned in prevarication, determinedly, wrongly associating the motive, intent, and execution of the attacks with Saddam Hussein and Iraq.
Immediately after 9/11, Netanyahu, who was in America, was asked by the BBC what the attack meant for US-Israeli relations. ''It's very good,” he said. Then he caught himself: ''Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.”
On September 12, 2001, in a CNN interview, Mr. Netanyahu said: “It’s not just bin Laden. It’s not just the networks. It’s also the states that harbor and support them—Iraq, Iran, the Taliban in Afghanistan.”
A few days later, on September 16, 2001, Vice President Cheney appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press and claimed: “We also have evidence that [Saddam Hussein] has been harboring terrorists, including al-Qaeda.”
We don't yet know if Robin Westman, the Minneapolis Annunciation Church mass shooting suspect, was on psych drugs. But we do know mass shooters in the U.S. tend to be young, obsessive, male loners and many have been prescribed psychoactive drugs.
For example, Eric Harris, one of the two shooters at Columbine High School in Columbine, Colorado in 1999 which ushered in the current spate of mass shootings, was on the psychotropic drug Luvox. Prescribing information for the antidepressant says, Close supervision of patients and in particular those at high risk should accompany drug therapy.
Jeff Weise who fatally shot his grandfather, his grandfather's girlfriend and seven people at the Red Lake Senior High School in 2005, was on the well-known antidepressant Prozac.
Bridgett Brown, a resident of California, developed breast cancer from using brand-name and generic versions of the antipsychotics Risperdal (risperidone) and Zyprexa (olanzapine) says a bold new lawsuit from the Wisner Baum law firm.
Neither Brown or her two prescribing physicians knew or “had reason to know” that the drugs could cause breast cancer since the drug manufacturers “obfuscated and disclaimed such risks while promoting these dangerous, expensive drugs over safer, more affordable alternatives.”
Brown suffered disfigurement, physical injury, pain and emotional distress and demands a jury trial, says the suit. Drug giants Johnson & Johnson or J&J (who marketed Risperdal) and Eli Lilly (who marketed Zyprexa) are among the suit’s major defendants along with J&J subsidiary Janssen Pharmaceuticals (who marketed Risperdal) and Lilly German partner Cheplapharm Arzneimittel Gmbh.
Off-Label Prescriptions Versus Off-Label Marketing
