4.7 Million Will Lose Their Vote — Today We Counterattack

Leading up to the 2024 election, 4.7 million Americans were wiped off the voter rolls, a daylight robbery of democracy, an outcome not based on the will of the voters but on the cruel, racially poisoned trickery we politely call “vote suppression.”
To prevent another electoral crime wave sabotaging the 2026 midterms, the Palast Investigations team is launching the counterattack. Joined with our action partners at Black Voters Matter Fund, RainbowPUSH Coalition, NAACP Atlanta, Southwest Voter Registration Education Project and other vote protection warriors, today we unveil our Save Your Vote campaign.
It kicks off with a series of 5-minute films, Jim Crow Reloaded. Each film short tells you how they are jacking with the voter rolls, who the perps are behind it, and what YOU can do about it.

You know our track record. We stopped the purge of 130,000 voters in Wisconsin in 2020. With our action partners, we restored some 98,000 voters to the Georgia rolls that year — 98,000 voters that changed the US Senate.
Working with our frontline activists, top litigators and media and celebrity partners we reached 8 million voters to provide the informational ballot armor to protect ballots and registrations.
As you know, the Palast Fund is non-partisan, non-profit and non-bullshit. We just think the voters, not the vote suppressors, should choose our Congress.

What the hell happened in 2024?
In 2024, we were overwhelmed with Jim Crow attacks in two dozen states. The figure of 4.7 million voters, wrongly removed from the rolls, their ballots cancelled, comes from rarely accessed federal data and our team of top statisticians who produced the technical reports for the ACLU and the federal courts where I testified.
Unlike 2020 where we had a huge impact, in 2024, I’ll be straight with you, we had to face a multi-state onslaught. But we barely had the resources to spit into the wind.
You know me, unlike those other outlets, I rarely, rarely ask for donations. But now I must because we have no time while our ballots are literally under the gun. (See Jim Crow Reloaded, “Episode 7: Violence”.)

While we are working with the lawyers and voter registration groups, our first job is INFORMATION to rip the sheets off the cyber-Klansmen.
We’ve completed two episodes of Jim Crow Reloaded, but we’ve got to finish the other six — and RIGHT NOW!
The next episode is “The attack on the mail-in ballot.” We’ve filmed it, we need to finish it and get the series into the churches and meeting halls where our partners will take the message — focussing on Georgia, Texas, Wisconsin and Michigan.

Over 70% of African Americans vote by mail, drop-box or in-person early voting — and the King of Orange hates it.
