The America Empire sends Haitians to Hell

This is the story of Violet and her husband, (not real name for obvious reasons) who immigrated to America from Haiti under the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) . It is also the story of the recent history of the likely involvement of the American Empire in destabilizing Haiti beginning with the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse in 2021. (America's history of destabilizing Haiti goes back long before 2021, but is not covered here). 

TPS was established by law in 1990, and now includes residents of 12 countries who are nationals of a country experiencing ongoing armed conflict, an environmental disaster, or any temporary or extraordinary conditions that would prevent the foreign national from returning safely. The Supreme Court of the current United States, in support of racist President Trump, has ended temporary protection for over 300,000 Haitians, and is now in the process of removing them. Many thousands of Syrians are also being returned.

Violet and her husband both worked at Amazon warehouse. Both of her parents were murdered by gun by Haitian gangs prior to 2021. Virginia's immediate supervisor described her as the most reliable and hardworking employee over a period of 5 years. Neither Violet or her husband have close living relatives in Haiti. Haitians being deported will be assumed to have some resources and thus will be targets for the gangs controlling the country.

Haiti is overwhelmed by powerful armed gangs that control an estimated 70-90% of the capital, Port-au-Prince . This violence has led to more than 2,300 deaths since the beginning of 2026 alone, and gangs are increasingly terrorizing communities outside the capital.

The State of Ohio is home to a large Haitian population. Beginning in August 2026, Haitians have been required to report to Immigration to be fitted with ankle bracelets so that they can be prevented from leaving the state, and can be easily located for deportation. Work permits have been withdrawn so that these decent hard working people can no longer work but must instead await their fate at the mercy of gangs who will certainly assume they have some resources coming from America, and are likely to kidnap, extort, rape and kill. 

Haiti has a long history of being colonized by Spanish, French, and America. They have suffered several devastating hurricanes and earthquakes. The long sordid history of misery inflicted upon Haitians goes back to Christopher Columbus, and continues to this day.

On July 7, 2021, President Jovenel Moïse in 2021 was assassinated, which was blamed on “Colombian mercenaries”. No government has been established since then. After Moïse was assassinated Haitian authorities arrested 17 or 18 Colombians, most of them former Colombian military personnel. They were accused of being the mercenary force involved in the operation. At the time of the assassination, there were several photos of some of men who were captured. 

The Colombians themselves appear not to have had a personal or ideological motive to kill Jovenel Moïse. They were recruited as hired military personnel. 

The accused were not promptly tried. For years they sat in Haitian detention while the investigation repeatedly stalled. By 2025, none of the suspects being held in Haiti had actually gone to trial. The judicial process was repeatedly disrupted by political instability, threats against judges, and the collapse of Haiti's prison system. The Colombian suspects have never been tried in Haiti.

Their lawyers have repeatedly sought their release, arguing that they have been imprisoned for years without trial. In January 2025, for example, 17 Colombian detainees appeared before a judge, but the hearing was postponed.

Five years after the assassination, the men in that photograph who were captured in Haiti still had not been convicted—or even brought to a completed trial—in Haiti.

Meanwhile, some of the other conspirators went to the United States, but not the eleven seen in the famous photo of conspirators. This is where it gets particularly interesting.

Previous administrations allowed benevolent protection for a small percentage of citizens of these countries but this racist administration is determined to remove non-white people from American soil. Those Haitians being returned who are not killed will suffer a lack of economic opportunities in a country that has been devastated by the 2021 assassination, which was accomplished with at least some support from Washington DC.

The bottom line is the law abiding Haitians are being returned to a country that is dysfunctional and destabilized due to the involvement of the American Empire. These people are certainly going to be victimized upon their return.
