Elon Musk, Islam Is Not Your Punching Bag!

Elon Musk stated this week that “a Tesla employee was fired for violently assaulting a woman who stepped on his prayer rug. Months later he murdered three students in Austin.”

Musk confounds me even more when he adds: “This is not religion. It is a political ideology that places its rules above your rights and answers ‘insults’ with violence.”

Pardon me, Elon Musk, but where have you been hiding while 365 mass shootings took place in the good ol’ USA before September 30 of this year, leaving 361 people dead and 1,553 injured?

Did you blame Christianity or Judaism for those crimes? Of course not! That would have been laughable. But why single out Islam?

If a Muslim commits a crime, that person should be held accountable and punished accordingly. But why blame innocent Muslims for crimes they did not commit? Why put the Islamic faith on trial? Why single out Islam while ignoring violence committed by others?

Musk’s remarks about Islam are a cheap shot. Islam is not your punching bag, Elon! No double standards!
