Lesbian Festival is on SEPTEMBER 13, 11 am to 11 pm, at the Frontier Ranch in Kirkersville as it has been for thirteen previous years. Kirkersville is 30 miles east of Columbus in a natural, private setting.
Our MCC (God's Promise of Granville, OH) is sponsoring two workshops. The first is with presenter and writer Donna Brooks on being single and staying sane . There will be an opportunity to meet all the other singles who come to this! We also will have a "singles' dating service," for the day at our booth! The other workshop is for people already in relationships. Believe it or not, we will learn about the support for, and healing of, our relationships, found in the Bible, both Hebrew and Christian scriptures.
There are numerous entertainers (singers and drummers and other professionals), crafts and info booths, about 20 workshops, on everything from meditation to interpretive dance to healing, a carnival, children's activities, food, and lots of oppotunity to immerse yourself in women's culture. If any women would like to help with our booth (an opportunity to meet others and help get out affirming church info!) please contact me ASAP. ALL DAY of this Festival costs only $35 advance, $40 at the gate. It is a a private ranch with a covered stage. Rain or shine; till 11 pm. If you need a place to camp, my yard is available (no electricity) and limited floor space in the house. Regular campground info is available at the LBA website, below. I am selling tickets. Email me. OR send a SASE to Marj Creech/3972 Raccoon Valley Rd/Alexandria, OH 43001.
