American activist Guy Christensen wrote on his X account today: “I would sacrifice my life for a free Palestine.”
What compels a young American—with whom we share no ties of religion or language—to utter such words, while many within the Islamic Ummah claim to have no concern for the Holy Land or Al-Aqsa Mosque, going so far as to promote the hashtag “Palestine Is Not My Cause”? Thus, this makes this young American very special to each and every Palestinian.
Guy is a 21-year-old American with millions of followers across his social media accounts—including 3.6 million followers on TikTok alone. At the age of 17, after watching videos depicting the mass atrocities in Gaza, he decided to speak out. He produced a video drawing parallels between the historical treatment of Native Americans and the plight of the Palestinian people.
He was taken aback when many of his professional associates began contacting him, accusing him of supporting terrorists. Furthermore, the Zionist lobby reportedly offered him money to publicly declare that Israel was the victim and that Palestinians were terrorists.
However, he remained undeterred. He remarked that the very act of being offered money only served to radicalize him further. He continued producing videos to expose the crimes of the occupation, dedicating his entire time to this cause. He suffered significant financial losses, and although his social media accounts were repeatedly shut down, he managed to recover them successfully.
Guy Christensen gained international notoriety from his vocal support for Palestinian rights and his criticism of Israel’s war crimes in Gaza and the West Bank. His activism has garnered significant attention, particularly on social media platforms like TikTok, where he has amassed over 3 million followers. Photo credit: Guy Christensen Twitter account.
He enrolled at The Ohio State University, keeping his enrollment private to avoid personal harm; however, Zionists “doxxed” him—publishing his personal details as well as those of his family—and subsequently pressured state authorities to have him expelled from the university.
The university went even further; in his expulsion report, they stated that he posed a “threat” on campus. This designation effectively bars him from enrolling in other universities.
Consequently, he filed a lawsuit against the university, seeking to have this damaging statement removed from his expulsion record so that he may complete his undergraduate studies.
Guy Christensen has won a significant legal victory against The Ohio State University (OSU) in a case concerning his expulsion from the university. The ACLU of Ohio filed a lawsuit on behalf of Christensen, alleging that he was expelled for exercising his First Amendment rights after posting videos on Palestinian rights and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. A federal judge ruled that OSU likely violated Christensen’s First and Fourteenth Amendment rights, ordering the university to expunge any mention of the expulsion from his academic record. The case remains open, and Christensen’s legal team continues to pursue the matter. Source: ACLU Ohio website.
Despite all this, this courageous young man continues to insist on supporting Palestine and rejecting Zionist dominance over America.
