Responding to Fox News Article this morning from the Fifth Estate Heartbeat Movement Inc.
Reporting as a Black woman looking through the lens of historical facts—the true Bloodline of the Architect—we see the games they play. Whether it is the corporate spin coming out of Fox News reporting or the calculated betrayals from the establishment Democrats, we are done swallowing the script they hand us.
We are living through a continuous cycle where both major political parties treat our lives, our safety, and our future as bargaining chips while protecting the status quo. Fox News operates as the public relations firm and loudspeaker for the Trump administration, packaging fear and division for the masses, while the other side offers empty rhetoric and broken promises.
Look at the record. Let's talk about the hypocrisy in plain daylight. We watched them dangle our liberation and our civil rights like carrots on a stick. Where was the urgency when the Democratic Party held the White House and both chambers of Congress? The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act? Stalled, watered down, and left to die. The George Floyd Justice Reform in Policing Act? Buried. Federal protections to stop the execution of our people in the streets by the state went nowhere, even when the political math supposedly gave them the power to act.
And let us not even start on reparations. For generations, they have built this country on the broken backs, stolen labor, and blood of Black people, yet every time we demand what is owed, both parties suddenly develop selective amnesia. They tell us to "wait," to "vote harder," to be patient while wealth gaps widen, voting booths are locked down, and our communities are targeted. We cannot afford to keep playing a rigged game where the rules are written to ensure we always lose.
The two-party system is not broken—it is working exactly the way its architects intended, keeping us divided, exhausted, and begging for crumbs. True civic engagement means stepping outside of this failed two-party establishment and giving voters a real choice to participate in direct, grassroots democracy. That is why movements on the ground are shifting the paradigm.
Right here in Ohio, organizations like the Dayton Democratic Socialists of America are joining forces and partnering with the Protecting Ohioans' Constitutional Rights Committee. Together, we are stepping up to volunteer, bring vital awareness, and educate people to hold all government accountable—not just at the top, but across every single layer of power, including prosecutors, lawmakers, law enforcement officers, and correctional officers.
As independent journalism standing on the front lines, we know that nobody is coming to save us except us. It’s time to break the cycle, build our own power, and stop trusting those who have proven time and time again that they care more about party loyalty and corporate donors than they do about our survival.
