Blocked from the Ballot – Findings and Solutions

The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) invites you to a webinar to explore the findings from the Blocked from the Ballot research project, which leveraged geospatial data to better understand how, where, and why voting rights of racially diverse communities have been diminished in recent elections. The project identified actions for improving the ability of voters—especially BIPOC voters—to have voices heard in the electoral process.

Date: Tuesday, March 10
Time: 1:00–2:00 p.m. ET

The webinar will feature UCS experts, including report author Dr. Liza Gordon-Rogers. Participants will learn about our findings, the policy recommendations we are working to advance, and the meaningful actions supporters like you can take.

This webinar is hosted by the Center for Science & Democracy at UCS, a team that champions the role of science in democratic decision-making and in protecting free and fair elections.
