Honesty for Ohio Education's Monthly Organizing Meeting

Join Honesty organizers and grassroots education leaders from districts all across Ohio for our kickoff meeting on Tuesday, September 1 @ 7-8 PM. This is the first monthly meeting for the new 2026-2027 school year.

This meeting is for both new and veteran education advocates—new advocates will get the same new information but also go through a brief orientation to get caught up with the veterans.

In no more than one hour we will get everyone updated on: - Unaccountable private school vouchers and how you can make a difference this fall - Organizing in Rural Districts and our rural listening campaign - Organizing in the K-12 LGTBQ+ community and our LGBTQ+ listening campaign - How school board members can connect with our School Board Alliance - How Honesty is bringing together retired teachers to build power and how you can plug in

We'll also have a discussion and ask everyone to share what they think is the biggest issue facing their local district in this new school year.
