Fighting Authoritarianism In Our Third Act: A Three-Part Series
Third Act’s first public call of 2026 featured a discussion on the links between the fossil fuel industry, US imperialism, and authoritarianism and how Third Actors can effectively engage to make a difference.
Because of the overwhelmingly positive response from Third Actors, we are launching a three-part follow up series with Freedom Trainers to review the basics of that call and to learn more about how we can stop undemocratic actors in their tracks by taking away our acquiescence.
In this series, you will learn how to wield the powerful tools of noncompliance and mass noncooperation based on tried and true tactics used by movements around the world in fighting successfully against authoritarianism.
Part Two: Wednesday, April 8, 6 pm to 7:15 pm Eastern
Going deeper into the strategy of noncooperation and how we organize around a pillar of authoritarianism.
Part Three: Wednesday, April 15, 6 pm to 7:15 pm Eastern
How Third Actors can connect noncooperation into our existing campaigns and in our daily lives.
