Petition Signature Launch and Training

All of us should have a say in decisions that impact our future. But today in Columbus, we have a rigged system where a small group of people control the future of our city.

That’s why Our City Our Say is working to change how we elect City Councilmembers. We plan to put a charter amendment on the ballot this November to elect council members by only the people who live in that district.

To qualify for the ballot, we need to collect 20,000 signatures before the end of July. We need your help to make that happen!

Join us for a one-hour training to learn how you can help.

At the training, we’ll cover:

What the ballot initiative will do

Why it matters for residents and communities in Columbus

How to collect petition signatures correctly

Tips for talking with voters

You’ll leave with a clipboard, petition(s), and you will be ready to start collecting signatures to build a more responsive and accountable democracy in Columbus.

Re: accessibility ... the building is accessible overall ... library staff advises that "There are elevators on all the floors from the garage. (Note: height limit in the garage of 6 feet, 6 inches.) If being dropped off, the back by Topiary park may be better for 1st floor access."
