Plug-in & Power Up: A webinar on Portable Solar in Ohio

What if lowering your electric bill with solar energy was as easy as plugging a solar panel into a socket? Plug-in solar, also called balcony solar or portable solar, can make clean energy more accessible than ever.

But in Ohio, the policy needs to catch up. Right now, small plug-in solar systems exist in a regulatory gray zone. They’re still treated the same as larger rooftop systems, which means they lack the legal protections that consumers need. We’re pushing for legislation that creates a clear & safe pathway to buy, sell, and use plug-in solar. Senate Bill 383 has been introduced in the Ohio General Assembly.

Join Solar United Neighbors Ohio for a free webinar on Thursday, November 12th from 6 to 7 pm to learn how portable solar technology works and hear from the bill’s sponsors about why this bill matters.
