Third Act Ohio Meeting

Join us for our next monthly working group meeting on Tuesday, August 11th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m for a presentation on Plug-In Solar, also known as Balcony Solar.  We will hear how it works, the required hardware and hardware standards, vital safety standards, legal and insurance aspects. Relevant Ohio legislation HB755 and SB383 will also be discussed.

Our presenter, Greg Witt, is an advocate for and practices solar and geothermal energy, using them to power, heat and cool his home. Previously, he worked for a machine tool company in Chicago. One responsibility there was ensuring they met or exceeded the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic standards their automotive assembly customers specified for the machines they designed and built . Greg is a member of the Third Act Ohio coordinating committee and is a climate liaison with Third Act.
