Join us for our next monthly working group meeting on Tuesday, March 10th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Third Act Ohio member Mimi Plevin-Foust will share strategies for environmental advocacy at the state and local levels with examples from her work with FaCT Ohio, the Greater Cleveland Dayenu Circle, Shaker Heights’ Sustainability Committee, and a coalition of Ohio environmental groups working together to improve climate and environmental policies in our state.
Mimi is the Legislative Committee Chair for Faith Communities Together for a Sustainable Future (FaCT). Mimi helped launch the Monday ECO-Advocacy phone banks to lobby committees at the Statehouse, now partnering with Third Act, FaCT, and Buckeye Environmental Network.
