Heads up about a short info & planning session planned for this Thursday: 

ICO Voter Registration: Past Analysis & Future Plans, 8/13, 7pm.

Our friend Joe Knapp will dive into an analysis of our voter registration efforts in prior years (turn out rate, likely voting patterns, etc), with good news about how effective our efforts have been. We’ll also discuss current and future VR targets. We hope you can join! Register HERE.

Even if you trained to do VR years ago and haven’t yet found the right moment to jump in – it’s not too late. There are plenty of opportunities each week to do VR paired with more experienced folks. 

And, while our most urgent need is for volunteers who will go out and register voters, there are other options:

Text our volunteers to encourage them to sign up for an event,

Transcribe registrations and check they have gone through successfully,

Send postcards to voters whose registrations did not go through correctly.
