Columbus activists gathered by Columbus City Hall on Saturday, July 18 to participate in a National Day of Action to demand justice for victims of ICE and to advocate for the abolition of the agency.
The protest was in response to the recent ICE killings of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston and Joan Sebastian DurĂ¡n Guerrero in Maine. ICE admitted neither man was the actual target of their attacks.
Protestors held signs and banners and marched up Broad Street.
ICE continues to operate in central Ohio. See ICEWatch for updated information.
