This is where we are at with my Federal civil rights litigation. We are reaching out to provide a transparent update on the status of our federal civil rights litigation, Cynthia Brown v. Dave Yost (Case No. 2:24-cv-01401).

As of July 2, 2026, we have passed the 210-day mark since our last major briefings were submitted to the court. We know many of you are waiting—just as we are—for a final ruling from Judge Graham regarding our request for a permanent injunction.

To ensure everyone is on the same page: While we have seen success in the past with preliminary injunctions being granted and upheld, those were temporary measures. We are currently at the district court level awaiting a final ruling on the merits of the case. We understand the frustration that comes with this wait.

Constitutional litigation is a complex and often slow process, but we remain fully committed to this path. Our legal team, Mark Brown and Oliver Hall, continues to monitor the docket closely for any new scheduling orders or developments. We are not backing down.

Thank you for standing with us as we push for the accountability and transparency our communities deserve. We will continue to share updates here as soon as there is news to report.
