Hosted by Columbus Education Association. On June 4th, the Columbus City Schools Board announced that it will hire a firm to provide “alternative staffing” (unqualified scabs) in the event of a CEA strike for the purpose of keeping school operations running. This decision is both unsafe for our students, and a waste of resources that could be used towards working with CEA to build the Schools. Join us as we pack the June 18th Board Meeting to stand up for our students and send a message: Columbus Students Deserve School Counselors, School Nurses, School Librarians, Not Scabs. We will meet in the STRS plaza across the street at 4:45pm and walk in together.
Location: Columbus City Schools, 270 E. State St., 43215.

We laughed, we cried, we danced, we told Stonewall Columbus to F-OFF, and this year... WE’RE BAAAACK!!!
Black Queer & Intersectional Collective and its partners are organizing a 2nd annual Community Pride celebration which centers QTIPOC and those at other intersections of oppression, takes no corporate sponsorship, and outrightly fights against state-sanctioned violence.
Celebrating our Revolutionary History on the 50 Year Anniversary of The Stonewall Uprising. There’s nothing we want more than to commemorate THE TRUE history of our roots with you, our community.
We can’t wait to centralize Black and Brown queer, trans/GNC, and intersex voices, talents, and vendors who have dedicated their lives to resisting Rainbow Capitalism, and fighting for true Liberation for all of us.
Come join us and be apart of what the Stonewall Uprising was REALLY about:
Freedom from the Police State and the overreaching, menacing alliance between Corporations, The State, and the violent-exclusionary cis white gay-geoisie.
We Love and Need You More than You Know!

Hoof Hearted Brewery and Kitchen, 850 N 4th St. 7pm
****We'll meet outside of Hoof Hearted because it's near our desired location.****
We've all seen the video posted Fri, 6/8. The "dancin" pig known as "ohnoitsdapopo" punched a black man in the head, completely unprovoked, then put him on the ground and maced him for no reason. His mother got video of the whole thing on camera.
Let's talk about this "dancin cop," named AJ. This racist is a piece of work. He's been hailed for his community policing, for "motivational speaking," even being invited to Harvard, and for liking to get aggressive and punch suspects (according to an old Dispatch article). He has a history of violence on the job, having shot two people in a 2014 incident.
He has internalized his oppression deeply, as he says he grew up with a black, alcoholic father on the East Side, and claims to have hated the cops until a white FBI agent "saved" him from a life of certain ruin.
Kids at Rock City Church in the Short North know him as their youth pastor, where undoubtedly the seeds of hate are being sown into the next generation.
Tuesday, June 11, 6-9pm
Beeler Gallery, Columbus College of Art & Design, 60 Cleveland Ave.
This is the THIRD Community Pride event!
We will host a free screening of the documentary "Free CeCe!", followed by a panel discussion that will highlight transmisogynoir and it's daily violence against Black trans women, as well as the systemic dehumanization and criminalization of Black trans people.
When Black trans women are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back!

The March for Reproductive Freedoms
Friday, June 7, 12noon-6pm, beginning at the Ohio Statehouse and then marching to the OSU campus
The government is trying to take away basic human rights and a woman’s choice to have an abortion and to receive adequate birth control is something not to be deemed “unconstitutional.” The three founding principles of this country are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and they are under attack. In light of the government’s actions, the public’s voice needs to be heard. We will be staging a protest in front of the Ohio Statehouse and then marching to the OSU campus. Join us if you believe in the future of our freedoms!
