• House Minority Leader Allison Russo, State Senators Bill DeMora and Hearcel Craig, and County Auditor Michael Stinziano will stop by to chat about their important work for the people of central Ohio.

FrackStock, a celebration of science journalist Justin Nobel’s new book exposing health risks that gas and oil workers are exposed to from working with radioactive toxic waste will be held Sunday, June 2 from 5pm to 9pm at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd. in Columbus.

Hillbilly Chic is a vibrant, eclectic, band that blends old-time, bluegrass, and country folk. The band showcases some of Central Ohio’s finest musicians, including Paul Brown and John Victor amongst others. From Chillicothe, Ohio, the band is inspired by musicians of grit and substance: think “Gid Tanner and the Skillet Lickers meet Jim Morrison” or “Flatt and Scruggs meet Townes Van Zandt.” Appealing to audiences of all ages, the band has been described as “raucous,” “gritty,” “soulful,” and “crazy fun.”
