Rudy Bocanegra was born in Guatemala and immigrated to the United States in 1985. Columbus was his intended destination to unite with his wife-to-be who was living in Powell at that time. They married in August of that year and have lived in the northwest area of Columbus since then.  The couple has two grown children and two grandchildren.

A day that is a reminder of how Bub brought people together! A day filled with joy, unity, and the spirit of resilience.
