A free, non-corporate, music and arts annual festival. The festival bills itself as "The Party with a Purpose". To accomplish this goal, the festival relies on community members to work together in the planning and operation of the festival serving on committees and work teams including clean-up and recycling, safety and first aid, entertainment, street fair, etc.

The Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) hosts a series of tours each year for all to see and learn about local farms and food. This tour on Saturday, June 27 is at Nut and Horse Farms. They are a small-scale commercial farm focused on owners Joe Hietter and Amy Rothe-Hietter’s two passions: trees and horses. Their nut tree orchard consists of chestnut, hazelnut, black walnut, heartnut, butternut, pecan, hickory, and hican (cross between pecan and hickory) trees.

An Evening with Green Columbus is a celebration for tree lovers, community builders, sustainability enthusiasts, and anyone who believes a greener Columbus is possible.

This first-of-its-kind event brings together people who care about trees, neighborhoods, and the future of our city. Come, Bring a friend, and get ready to geek out about trees with people who get it.

Throughout the 29 years of celebration, the Juneteenth Ohio Festival has emerged as an enjoyable family weekend of cultural discovery, filled with a variety of events that promote cultural unity, enrichment and ethnic diversity.
