Street medic training for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color ONLY

FACO and @bqic.ohio are excited to announce 20-hour street medic training for Black, Indiginous, and People of Color ONLY. This 20-hour street medic training that covers protest first-aid, care for unhoused neighbors, and the ethics of street medicine.

Friday 4:30-9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9am-6pm

Skills include consent, patient assessment, when to seek higher care, wound treatment, allergic reaction, heat and cold care, common issues that arise at protests and with people living outside, injury due to chemical weapons and other “less lethal” weapons, and preparing for actions/protest situations.

Space is limited. Please keep in mind that completing the application does not mean you will be invited to the training. We will prioritize space for those who are able to be active in Columbus.
