We’re thrilled to announce our 2023 Winter Potluck!

This event replaces the normal Merion Village Association meeting for the month of December. The potluck is family-friendly and open to all! This is the perfect chance to meet new neighbors and catch up with old friends.

This year, our potluck will be hosted by Hey Hey Bar and Grill that is located at the southeast corner of E. Whittier St. and Bruck St.

Bring the family out to celebrate the release of Step by Step! How the Lincoln School Marchers Blazed a Trail to Justice, by Debbie Riguad and Carlotta Pen.

This event is for all ages — it’s about sharing the important history of the Lincoln School Marchers and supporting literary arts in our community. We will have jewelry and book making, cookies, music, photos, and a reading.

This is an all-ages, free event, and an opportunity for families, new youth, and the community to see our Drop-in Center and our brand-new Wellness Center!

• Learn about KYC’s programs and services!

• Enjoy some favorite seasonal refreshments!

SPAN Ohio and Health Care for All Ohioans are very excited, as the winter sets in, to start our planning for the future. We have a great year to look back on with wins in August and November helping to protect the healthcare rights of Ohioans. We want to thank everyone for all that you do and ask you to be as involved as you are able.

Bronzeville Agricademy is a free, creative format of on-line classroom instruction, production tours, and mentoring to promote a plant-based diet. It will meet weekly online from October 5 to December 14, 6:30-8pm, via Zoom.

Who should attend: Anyone who wants to learn more about growing their own food or contributing to a community garden.

Is it only for adults? No, it is recommended for middle school, high school, and college students as well.
