After the November election is over, the Ohio General Assembly will return to Columbus for about six weeks to finish up their business for the two-year session.
In partnership with the Ohio Council of Churches, we will convene an advocacy day on November 29, 9:30am-3:30pm, for people of faith and good conscience to come to the Statehouse to talk with policymakers on issues such as how to transform our criminal justice system, food security, and strengthening our schools.

The Bizarket Market will feature 10+ handmade, local vendors. This market will specifically focus on food/drink vendors, bakers, etc. Expect foods that are vegan, Soul Food, Puerto Rican, and Caribbean, plus Drinks, Wine Cellars, Herbal Teas, Mushroom Chocolates, Sweets, Treats, and many more eats! Thanksgiving Day can be difficult to navigate through if the majority of your friends and family aren’t vegan like you. We have been challenged even finding a place that is open on Thanksgiving Day where there is a menu that is free from animal-based items.
Happily, the Wellness Forum Health is allowing us to use their space for a Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck! Please bring your favorite vegan dish to share.

Traffic crash rates in Columbus are still increasing, unfortunately — up 14% in 2021 and rising — despite the “Vision Zero” traffic safety strategy that had been adopted by the City of Columbus two years ago.

This talk will discuss the history of Russo-Ukrainian relations and its representation in both countries following the Soviet collapse in 1991. It will demonstrate how Putin’s nostalgia for the tsarist empire made Ukraine the likeliest target of Russian aggression and how Russia’s rejection of democracy determined the timing of the invasion.
