COHR [Central Ohio Harm Reduction] “Stop The Bleed” and Narcan training

Saturday, June 25, 2pm, The Vanderelli Room, 218 McDowell St.

COHR will be offering a free “Stop The Bleed” course as well as a free Naloxone/Narcan training. Participants will receive a free tourniquet and a free Naloxone/Narcan kit while they last. No private or personal info will be required. STB will teach folks how to stop rapid blood loss in an emergency.

Saturday, June 25, 12noon-6pm, MPACC Box Park by Maroon Arts Group, 925 Mt. Vernon Ave.

This event will include the following.

• Motorcycle ride

• Free food and entertainment

• Gift bags for the first 50 people

• Family-friendly fun

Arrive at 11am to set up for the motorcycle ride.

The MPACC Box Park is an outdoor event venue located at 925 Mt. Vernon Ave. in the King-Lincoln/Bronzeville District.

Hilltop Bean Festival, hosted by Hilltop Business Association

Saturday, June 25, 10am-5pm, Westgate Park, 455 S. Westgate Ave.

The Hilltop Bean Festival is an 80-year-old tradition that is held every June at Columbus’ Westgate Park. Despite the name, we don’t sit around a table eating beans! This event is a family-friendly festival remembering the history that made the Columbus west side what it is today.

During the Civil War, the area now known as Westgate Park had been a Civil War prison camp called “Camp Chase.”
