Our March Interest Group session is set for Saturday, March 12th. The speakers will provide an informational overview of the larger issues around food sovereignty, food security, food justice, etc., before diving into concrete strategies for advocacy and action, including community-based as well as broad-based movements seeking to ameliorate food insecurity and/or effect systemic change.

Join April for the beginning of her new series. This first class will define Wicca and some basic beliefs. This class will be a short exploration of the founding of Wicca and how Wicca today is different from what Wicca had been in the beginning.
Limit 8 people. Must wear masks and be vaccinated.

The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called “Going to HCCO” and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.

The Columbus chapter of the international grassroots advocacy group Citizens’ Climate Lobby has launched a monthly speaker series, “Ales and Climate Tales,” that will feature local scientists and experts on environmental issues. The fourth presentation of this series will be held Wednesday, March 9, 6pm, at the Mikey’s Late Night Slice upstairs event space, 457 N. High St.

We will be gathering this Sunday [3-6-2022] at 5:30pm at the Washington Gladden Social Justice Park for an interfaith service to pray for peace.
At 6pm, we will move to the steps of the church to set up flags of Ukraine and peace flags with sunflowers.
The second part will be led by interfaith youth.

In Ohio, lawmakers are attempting to pass the misleadingly named, “Save Women’s Sports Act” (House Bill 61 and Senate Bill 132). This bill would ban transgender athletes from competing on the team in alignment with their gender identity in both high school and college sports and is just one more way that LGBTQ+ youth are being demonized by politicians at the Statehouse.
