Celebrate the roots and branches of folk and Americana music with the Avalon Nine Trio on Sunday, October 10, 3-5pm.

With sparkling vocal harmonies and intricate instrumental backup, Linda Blaine, David Clutter, and Brian Szuch will perform tunes by iconic songwriters such as John Prine, Gillian Welch, Joni Mitchell, Nanci Griffith, and others.

Come help comedian Mike Lemme move out of his apartment as part of his new theatrical comedy show, “Healing+.”

No heavy lifting is required. This show will be a mix of stand-up, storytelling, improvisation, and theater. This performance will feature special guest Carter Morgan.

The doors will open at 1:30pm; the show will be 1:45-3pm.

Masks are required (while not eating or drinking). Please only attend if you’re fully vaccinated.

As we continue to see the effects of climate change on various parts of the world, displacement from climate disaster is becoming less of a far-off scenario — especially for many of our Guatemalan neighbors.

In “Climate Justice and Migration: A Faith Perspective,” Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service [LIRS] will host a dialogue on the intersection between climate displacement and faith, both for those in the U.S. and for our heavily-burdened brothers and sisters in Guatemala.
