In 2026, the U.S. will mark its 250th anniversary. As we approach this historic milestone, a lot is changing at the local, state, and national levels, and it seems like the right time to connect as a community and discuss our vision for the country.

Join us for a free spaghetti dinner and conversation on Tuesday, June 10, 6-8pm, at 1890 E. Main St. Come ready to eat, connect, and share.

Thursday, June 10, 5:30pm, Whetstone Park of Roses [outdoor shelter house #1], 3901 N. High St. 

We’ll be gathering at outdoor shelter house #1 (one of the outdoor shelters, just southwest of the big indoor one) to share food and drinks. We’ll be providing hot dogs, water, and soda. You are welcome to bring a dish to share if you would like. Please RSVP so that we will have an idea of how many hot dogs to supply.

Founded in 1991, Jain Center of Central Ohio is a not-for-profit religious organization practicing the Jain Philosophy. The Jain Temple in Central Ohio was established in July 2012.

Saturday, June 7, 2pm, The Reeb Center, 280 Reeb Ave.

Appalachian Swing is a Columbus-based bluegrass band known for their tight harmonies, strong musicianship, and high-energy sound inspired by the legendary Kentucky Colonels. On Saturday June 7, they’ll perform a matinee show at the Reeb Center (280 Reeb Ave.) as part of the Columbus Folk Music Society’s monthly concert series. Doors open at 2pm with snacks, followed by an open mic at 2:30pm, and culminates with Appalachian Swing taking the stage at 3pm. Admission is free; donations are welcomed.

DEI stands for “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” In our nation today, there are significant changes taking place within identified DEI programs on all different levels: companies, organizations, universities, schools, government, and more. Whether DEI programs are worthwhile or not is a topic worth learning more about and discussing by using “The Braver Angels Way.”
