Inhale/Exhale is a free program for restorative healing for activists and organizers in the progressive, left and radical movement. We all need space to reground and heal from our trauma to sustain ourselves and the work. Join Luz Emma Cañas Madrigal, a Black Queer healer from Cleveland, as they lead us through a series of healing practices.

Check out luzemma.com for more information on our amazing healer!

Ohio prisons and jails are the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. In Marion County, Ohio, nearly 80% of the prison’s population has tested positive for COVID-19. What’s more — lockdowns, lack of personal protective equipment, and decreased food services — have made life inside the prison even more dangerous and inhumane.

Support our incarcerated neighbors, friends and family, as well as our local artist-activists, by joining us for a virtual concert featuring the following performers.

Thursday, May 21, 6:30-8:30pm, Corner Stone Deli and Cafe, 3296 N. High St.

Bring whatever you’re working on and your preferred composition materials (pens and notepads, laptops, tablets, clay tablets, etc.). We might work companionably quietly or we might get a discussion going; we’ll just see how it goes.

This event is free and open to the public. Look for a placard with the rainbow druid sigil on it. (That’s the symbol in the upper right of the picture on the “Facebook event” page for this event.)

This week, tune in for a guided gratitude meditation and an abortion story shared by one of our passionate supporters!

I felt shock and disgust when extremist protesters at the Ohio Statehouse brandished offensive and antisemitic signs to create fear. I didn’t want to believe that this could happen in the capitol of my home state in 2020.

Thursday, May 21, 1-2pm, this event will be live-streamed on “Facebook Live”
