Due to high demand for the housing-insecure populations of our city, we are doing a “special edition” “trial run” this upcoming Sunday [April 19].

This will be a cook/bake at home and then a drop-off at 82 E. 16th Ave. From there, a small team will do final preparation and assembly before heading to the temporary overflow shelter at the YMCA at 40 W. Long St.

Queer and Intersectional Collective [BQIC] is a grassroots community organization that works towards the liberation of Black queer, trans, and intersex people from all walks of life through direct action, community organizing, education on our issues, and creating spaces to uplift our voices.

Society of Professional Journalists [SPJ] Cleveland is excited to be working with the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland to present “The Crisis in Local News: Reinventing the Business of Journalism.”

Initially, we thought this would be an in-person event, but as we continue to navigate through the coronavirus pandemic, our plans have shifted. Instead, we’ve decided to host the panel as a webinar via Zoom on Thursday, April 16, at 7pm.

Equality Ohio’s Southwest legal clinic attorney Emily Meyer and Cincinnati attorney Scott Knox are hosting a virtual gathering on Zoom to discuss several legal issues currently being affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Topics will include unemployment, estate planning, housing and eviction, and voting in Ohio.
