Sunday, March 29, 2-7pm, Summit on 16th United Methodist Church, 82 E. 16th Ave.; and then outside of the YMCA shelter, 40 W. Long St.

We’ll be cooking to share a meal outside of the downtown YMCA shelter again. Bring whatever vegan(ish) food you can find, or just bring yourself to help prepare the meal, or just come over for conversation and company. New people are always welcome! The “Facebook address” on this event is where the cooking itself will occur. We’re test-running a new cooking location that is a bit bigger and is wheelchair-accessible.

Friday, March 27, 6-8pm, Turkish American Society of Ohio [TASO] Columbus, 2885 W. Dublin-Granville Rd.

Would you like to learn more about Islam and your Muslim neighbors? This will be a social time where you can meet members of TASO [Turkish American Society of Ohio] and enjoy traditional food and refreshments.

This will be a free event; seats are limited.

Sunday, March 22, 9am-1pm, Scioto Audubon Metro Park, 400 W. Whittier St.

Please join us at Scioto Audubon Metro Park, just south of downtown, at 9am on Sunday, March 22 to participate in The Hunger Run 5K and help chase hunger out of Central Ohio! Every dollar raised for NSI provides four meals, which means that, by participating in The Hunger Run 5K, you will help to provide 120 meals. In 2019, Neighborhood Services served 654,352 meals.

Join us for BQIC’s monthly fundraiser, BQIC speak up! Spoken Word and Open Mic. Come out and share your poems, songs, monologues, inner musings, and good encounters, bad days, good dates, etc. on the mic! LGBTQIA+ people of color take priority within the space!

Entry is $5 suggested donation! We will have beverages and snacks for suggested donations as well! Please also consider donating to Art Outside the Lines which provides great art programs for people with disabilities.
