Summer Jam West is a grassroots, free, arts and music festival held annually in Westgate Park.
We commit to bringing music and permanent, public art to the Hilltop.
At our festival, you’ll find live bands all day, local food trucks, local art and crafts, professional chalk artists, and a free Children’s Art Zone.
Look for our public art installations throughout the Hilltop community.

The Youth Summit is a time for opportunity youth in the greater Columbus area to come together for one full day of empowering workshops. This year’s youth summit will focus on the topics of Financial Literacy, Mental Health Awareness, and Social Justice.
This event is for opportunity youth who are 16-24 years old and will include the following.
• Breakout Sessions
• Food and Raffles
• Keynote Speaker
• Resource Fair

His new book, Red State Revolt, describes the inspiring story of the teachers’ strike wave and analyzes why it points the way forward for all working people.

Goodale Park is home to over 300 trees and over 200 different varieties. Want to learn more? Join Jim Slyh as he shares interesting facts about some of the park’s trees. The only requirement on your part is an appreciation for trees. This is a walking tour with lots of stops so wear comfortable shoes. Jim is an arborist/horticulturist with the Ohio Department of Agriculture and chaired the Chillicothe Tree Commission.

Now imagine that the only pool of water you come across is germ-laden and full of animal and human feces, garbage, and other pollutants.
Could you drink that water, cook with it, bathe a newborn baby, or soothe your thirsty, crying child? Probably not.
