Marcher Walker Pilgrim: A memoir from the Great March for Climate Action

This event will be a reading and a book signing of this book by Ed Fallon.

On an eight-month walk from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. in 2014, dozens of marchers became a mobile village, sounding the alarm about the climate crisis.

Through humor and candid introspection, Ed shares how the experience brought into focus his lifelong search for love and meaning, even as intense, interpersonal dramas threatened to tear the March community apart.

To further reinforce our theme of “Reconnecting with Nature,” the Simply Living Book Club has selected the book that inspired our March film, Journey of the Universe: The Epic Story of Cosmic, Earth, and Human Transformation.

Authors Brian Swimme, the acclaimed evolutionary philosopher, and Yale University historian of religions Mary Evelyn Tucker, tell a big story in a small book — one that inspires hope for a way in which Earth and its human civilizations could flourish together.

On March 19, join us for “Meet Your Legislator Day”. Many of you have told us that you want to learn more about what happens after a bill is introduced in the Ohio Legislature. We thought that the best way to do that would be to hold an educational training event followed by citizens meeting up with their legislators.
