The purpose of the National African American Male Wellness Walk/Run Initiative is to begin the process of helping men to understand that, through prevention, one can live longer. This event allows men and their families across the country to obtain free health screenings and to raise awareness about living a healthier lifestyle.

This concert will feature original musical works by Rocco Di Pietro, Columbus State Community College Music Professor, along with Korean, Japanese, and American works, that will focus on the broken world in a quest for wholeness.

This year’s program is entitled: “One Story of Mary Magdalene.” Attendees will congregate in Fellowship Hall, instead of the Sanctuary, where appetizers and dessert will be served as they watch the presentation. We are excited about this year’s program and the new format.
