A twenty-to-thirty-minute silent meditation will be followed by discussion and refreshments.
The benefits of meditation are innumerable. These include greater mental clarity, a reduction in stress, improved emotional balance, and increased spiritual development. Meditation benefits everyone.
Different meditation practices will be presented, throughout the year, by practitioners of those traditions.

Join Veterans for Peace on Saturday, March 15 for a special event marking the anniversary of the disastrous U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Veterans for Peace will present a virtual screening of “What I Want You To Know,” an award-winning documentary produced by two veterans who deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. The event is co-sponsored by Military Families Speak Out and Servicemembers for Ceasefire.
This film screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the following:

Do you have some old tires you don’t know what to do with? We are holding a tire amnesty event on March 15 from 10am to 12noon at the Linmoor Education Center parking lot! Columbus residents may come and bring up to ten tires for free recycling. Properly recycling tires is important to keep them out of our streams, waterways, and other natural areas, keeping them out of our landfill, and reducing breeding grounds for mosquitoes!
