The Washington Gladden Social Justice Park, located at the corner of E. Broad St. and Cleveland Ave. in downtown Columbus, will host a free public event on Sunday afternoon, January 19, to reaffirm the ideals of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January is also known as Veganuary. What better way to break cabin fever, socialize with friends, dine on healthy food, have some fun, or just chill. We will be in the cozy, a private dining experience, at Portia’s. I bet we will have several prize drawings too!
Check out Portia’s incredible menu that is allergy friendly, vegan, and mostly gluten-free. It is healthy food for healthy people.

This event will be an afternoon of music and conversation on behalf of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King.
2pm: Concert for peace, justice and understanding featuring jazz and world music
3-5pm: Community meal and conversation with a live jazz band and open mic

Happy New Year! We’re excited for the new year and will continue to push for better public transit, walkability, and mobility justice in central Ohio. We hope you can join us for our first meeting of the year where we will discuss 2025 goals and beyond and our strategic plan for achieving those goals.
