The City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods closes out their “One Dream, Many Voices” event series by hosting a free Black History Month event screening of Genius: MLK/X (Rated TV-14) at COSI’s Giant Screen Theater.

This limited series explores the formative years and intersecting paths of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Episodes 1 and 2 will be shown, featuring pivotal moments such as Malcolm’s release from prison, MLK’s university graduation, and the foundations of their ideological differences–all set against the backdrop of a changing America.

Gateway Film Foundation is proud to announce its Black History Month 2026 film series, an annual, legacy program spotlighting contemporary and historic Black voices through cinema, live performance, and post-screening discussions.
