This documentary-style film follows the struggle of radical women as they fight to secure women’s liberation in a post-revolution, dystopian New York City. We’ll see you Friday night for a discussion on how we fight for women’s liberation and socialism in our own, current struggles!

DEATH & TAXES is a feature documentary about wealth, inequality and the American Dream, viewed through the lens of the estate tax and the very personal story of a father and son at odds over what kind of inheritance we want to leave our kids and our country.

2026 Virtual Film Festival: Silenced: Repression of Dissent

Join World BEYOND War for our 6th annual virtual film festival throughout the month of March!

This year’s festival theme examines the increasing repression of nonviolent protest, criminalization of dissent, and the curtailing of freedom of speech worldwide. This year’s film festival creates space for this timely discussion of what’s at stake for those who stand up for peace and justice, and how we can rise up in solidarity to grow our movements in the face of repression.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. | Film begins at 2:00 p.m., followed by a discussion.

The City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods closes out their “One Dream, Many Voices” event series by hosting a free Black History Month event screening of Genius: MLK/X (Rated TV-14) at COSI’s Giant Screen Theater.

This limited series explores the formative years and intersecting paths of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Episodes 1 and 2 will be shown, featuring pivotal moments such as Malcolm’s release from prison, MLK’s university graduation, and the foundations of their ideological differences–all set against the backdrop of a changing America.

Gateway Film Foundation is proud to announce its Black History Month 2026 film series, an annual, legacy program spotlighting contemporary and historic Black voices through cinema, live performance, and post-screening discussions. Taking place every Sunday at 2:00pm throughout February, the series invites audiences to gather for shared cultural experiences rooted in history, creativity, and dialogue.
