Transgender people are disproportionately impacted by HIV and its criminalization. Join The Ohio Health Modernization Movement for a discussion on the unique challenges that transgender and gender-non-conforming people face in the legal system, the HIV care and prevention systems, and even within the LGBTQ community. Panelists will also briefly provide an overview of the correct terminology to use when discussing transgender people.

Join us to meet with physician/author Alice Rothchild as she discusses her experiences with young Gazan writers, sharing their daily personal struggles and triumphs on the “We Are Not Numbers” platform that celebrates stories by Palestinians that are rarely covered in the mainstream media.
