In a groundbreaking initiative to foster peace and unity across the nation, the USA Peace Talks will launch on Tuesday, January 20 at 8 PM Eastern time.

Mitchell Plitnick, a political analyst and writer, is the president of ReThinking Foreign Policy.  He is the author, with Marc Lamont Hill, of Except for Palestine: The Limits of Progressive Politics, published in February 2021 by The New Press. Mitchell’s previous positions include vice president at the Foundation for Middle East Peace, Director of the US Office of B’Tselem: The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, and Co-Director of Jewish Voice for Peace.

On Monday, January 12, at 1 p.m., Ohio's Oil and Gas Land Management Commission -- the five-member governor-appointed body in charge of decisions about fracking Ohio's state parks and public lands -- will hold a public hearing about changes to the standard form for leasing our lands to the oil and gas industry.

This hearing will be the first time in almost three years that the citizens of Ohio will be allowed to speak at a meeting regarding the fate of the state parks and public lands that we own, use, and cherish.

The chaos out of the White House is meant to overwhelm us. Our antidote is community. Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin every Thursday to break down the week’s biggest political stories, answer your questions, and map out strategies for taking action.

This is people-powered politics in real time. Questions can be submitted via the Q&A function during the live event.

Real talk. Real people. Real action. That's the plan.
