Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day of art, food, and community connection as we brighten and celebrate the Old Freedom Garden, at the corner of Carpenter and Mound Street, and play in the Four Seasons City Farm, across the street on Mound.
Celebration includes Community Mural Painting, Hands-On Art Activity, and Food from Four Seasons City Farm farmers and chefs.
Together, let’s celebrate creativity, neighborhood pride, the beautification of the Old Freedom Garden with the unveiling of “Hands of Community” created by Jeremy Jarvis to celebrate the everyday rejuvenation, unity, resilience, and connection that sustains and strengthens the Near Eastside community.
Celebration hosted by Jarvis Art Studio, Four Seasons City Farm, and Community Housing Network.
