Protest/Rally

Saturday, January 18, beginning with an 11:30am rally at Goodale Park, 120 W. Goodale St., and then marching to the Ohio Statehouse at 1pm

This is our time. Our time to make it clear: we will not be pushed aside, ignored, or silenced. On January 18, we march together — as women, as LGBTQIA+ individuals, as BIPOC communities, as immigrants, as allies. We stand united to demand a world where equality is not a threat, but a reality.

Monday, December 9, 12:15pm gathering, 1pm meeting, Ohio Department of Public Safety, Charles D. Shipley Building Atrium, 1970 W. Broad St.

We need you, and we need your positive energy in person on Monday, December 9, at 12:15pm, at Ohio Department of Public Safety, Charles D. Shipley Building Atrium, 1970 W. Broad St.

Thursday, October 3, 4pm, outside of Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High St.

Students, faith leaders, and Ohioans are coming together for a powerful rally in Columbus to oppose Project 2025 and its architects, convening in the city for the Essential Summit — an effort to co-opt faith in the name of hate. Our diverse coalition is making it clear: hatred and attempts to undermine our freedoms have no place in our state.

Who:

• Students from colleges across Ohio organized by the Ohio Student Association

Thursday, July 18, 2pm, Franklin County Government Center 373 S. High St., first floor, auditorium

Let’s show County Treasurer Brooks Sullivan that we won’t let our tax dollars fund genocide!

Franklin County Treasurer Cheryl Brooks Sullivan

• Invested over $11 million of county tax dollars in Israel Bonds since October 7.

• Attended a virtual event featuring Netanyahu.

Tuesday, July 9, 11:30am-1pm, Huntington Center, 41 S. High St.

Although not one of the “Big 4” dirtiest fossil-fuel-funding banks, Huntington has a particular climate problem here in Ohio: they are funding the toxic, polluting, and unnecessary plastics “recycling” (i.e., incineration) industry, making all of Ohio a “Climate Sacrifice Zone.”

Please come join what promises to be a fun and lively event, meet other Ohio Third Actors, and help get the message to Huntington Bank that Ohioans say:

No! to their greenwashing

Wednesday, June 12, 3:30pm, Ohio Statehouse

What: More than a hundred returning citizens will convene at the Statehouse to rally support for the GROW [Getting Rehabilitated Ohioans Working] Act and to raise awareness of collateral sanctions that hold back over a million Ohioans from fully reintegrating into their communities.

When: Wednesday, June 12, starting at 3:30pm

Wednesday, May 15, 3pm, Ohio Statehouse

Join Students for Justice in Palestine and Palestine Diaspora Movement for a statewide protest. May 15 will be the 76th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, which means “catastrophe.” The 1948 founding of Israel was preceded and accompanied by a massive ethnic cleansing operation to remove as many of the Muslim and Christian inhabitants as possible.

Wednesday, April 24, convening at 3:30pm at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, 1021 Polaris Pkwy.; and then moving to the Chase Bank “McCoy Center” headquarters, 1111 Polaris Pkwy.

Chase Bank is the largest fossil fuel funder on the planet. They’ve pumped over $434 billion into deadly fossil fuels worldwide since 2016.

Join us for a protest at the Chase Bank “McCoy Center” headquarters in Columbus on Wednesday, April 24, 3:30-5pm.
