Tuesday, June 30, 6-7:30pm, Ohio Statehouse

We’re excited to work with @activistplusarts on our teach-in, titled “Abolition 101: Imagining a World Without Police or Prisons,” for next Tuesday, June 30, 6-7:30pm, at the Ohio Statehouse. Come learn from local Black abolitionist organizers about what police abolition is, why it’s better than reform, and how we can achieve it here in Columbus!

We will record and/or livestream this event!

Monday, June 29, 5pm, Columbus City Hall, 90 W. Broad St.

We are asking everyone to participate in the Columbus City Council meeting today (Monday, June 29) at 5pm. You can sign on virtually or join us for a rally outside of City Hall. We need your help telling City Council to vote “no” on all ordinances that give more money and resources to the Columbus Police Department [CPD]. We encourage you to email, call, and fill out a speaker card. For more info, click here.

Sunday, June 28, 12noon-2pm, Goodale Park, 120 W. Goodale St.

If you are a socialist, worker, union member, or community member, join us at this rally in support of the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement!

We must take a stand against working with police, especially after their continued excessive violence against protesters. And, we cannot trust in establishment politicians or the lip service they pay to the movement.

We need to keep the momentum of these mass protests going in order to win true justice by building working-class solidarity and union support.

Sunday, June 21, 12noon-4pm, Ohio Statehouse to Stonewall Columbus, 1160 N. High St.
