Protest/Rally

The nearest parking is at the Kroger strip mall on Schrock Rd.  We also have a group that goes down to the intersection of Schrock and Brooksedge after picking up their signs.

We provide the signs, which have red lettering on a white background and say, “Stop the Cruelty.”  We all use the same sign to maximize visual impact. We are a silent protest, although we do talk among ourselves. We have a policy of not hassling ICE officers who wander by. Anger and resentment are Donald Trump's tools, they're not ours.

Everyone is welcome!

Community members and labor leaders will rally in front of the Social Security Administration building at 200 N. High St. in Columbus to urge Senators Moreno and Husted to vote for extending ACA Health Insurance Marketplace enhanced premium tax credits.

On January 8, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1834, a clean, three-year extension of the credits. With the bill now going to the Senate, concerned Ohioans have written letters and reached out to their Senators to demand action.
