Protest/Rally

Until Never Again Means Never Again for Anyone

From Erasure to Resistance

On November 11, 1918, the guns finally fell silent. The “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” marked a global sigh of relief and a promise: War No More. Armistice Day was meant to remind future generations of the cost of empire and the necessity of peace.

Calling all antiwar, peace and justice, union and solidarity activists!

No War on Venezuela!

No Troops on our Streets!

An emergency network is calling for local actions, large and small, during the week of November 15 – 23.

The US military is hurrying its aircraft carrier battle group, with destroyers, jet warplanes and nuclear submarines to the shores of Venezuela, while threatening Colombia and massing U.S. troops in Puerto Rico and throughout the Caribbean.

OSU students’ free speech rights are under attack, and they need your support! The Ted Carter administration and the Board of Trustees are capitulating to the demands in Trump’s authoritarian compact and over-complying to the disastrous Senate Bill 1, stripping students of their identity centers and avenues of expression. Activists have been silenced, students have been disenrolled, and the threat of politically-motivated University retaliation hangs over both students and faculty. This is why we need you! On 11/7, an action will be held at the Thompson Statue on the Oval.

On November 2, we will hold a rally in front of Home Depot, on the public sidewalk on Grener Avenue, in honor of all the workers who have been kidnapped by ICE on Home Depot properties. Join us in a day of action and make your voice heard. Tell Home Depot: ICE Out!

Join us as we wave at rush hour drivers. We'll supply the giant signs and US & Pride flags. We need folks to wave and get the attention of drivers. Please DO bring flags to wave, and feel free to leave your signs at home.

In the event of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled.

Concerned about proposed cuts to Social Security services? Appalled by the abduction and renditioning of legal immigrants? Outraged by the theft of our private information? Generally dumbfounded by the chaotic combination of evil and incompetence coming from the White House? Make up a sign and let people know!

Join us in standing up for our future and protesting the Trump administration’s reckless economic policies that put profit over people. His massive tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy will explode the national deficit, opening the door to devastating cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, Social Security, education, research and more—the very lifelines and services millions of families depend on. Tariffs and trade wars will spike prices on groceries, clothing, and everyday goods, squeezing working families while small businesses fight to stay afloat.
