by Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman
October 6, 2003
What utter fucking toxic waste. There's so much crap here it's hard to wade through it all.
Reading this you would think Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman fear being turned into a bar of soap and a lampshade respectively by George W Bush.
Had the authors any knowledge at all, or even a vague memory of the Florida mess, he'd know that elections nationwide are administered at the County level
I see the vile idiots are still repeating the Nazi quote lie even after the NYT corrected the "error".
Sounds like both of Wasserman's parents tested positive on the Wasserman test before and during the pregnancy with him. This vile bile is a definite Wasserman Reaction.
WASSERMAN REACTION. WordNet Dictionary. Definition: [n] a blood test to detect syphilis.
Liberals and Socialists are the closest thing to NAZIS.

If he was the only jew with this inane idealism,I might not understand my own question but one cannot pick up a newspaper, listen to some radio and worst of all all cable television news without hearing the spewing of this junk by a jew. The Holocaust,as horrible as it was,is not the "root of all the evil" in the world, today. When a longtime friend in New York tells me,for instance, that Arnold Sschwartznegger is a nazi sympathizer,I knew her marrying into a jew family and being surrounded with these left leaning democrats would soften her good christian values into the muck of current jewery......
Just wanted you to know that I appreciate your site and often
send your articles to friends (linked back to you of course).
My critique of "Stay in Bed" was not intended to disparage your
site or the fine work you do -- I just consider it to be an example
of shockingly bad writing, that for some reason, never received any editing.
Why I do not know.
The rest of your content is excellent.
Best regards,
G.
Media strategists were key to the recall drive that ended in triumph for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s savvy corporate backers. So, as a public service, here are some tips for any partisans who want a shot at spinning their way into recall history:
* Do your best to capitalize on smoldering resentments. Don’t bother to illuminate much about the actual underlying causes of social discontent. Try to use citizen outrage as bait to attract the support of talk-show hosts, pundits, ambitious politicians and well-heeled contributors.
"Stay In Bed" by Daniel Patrick Welch, though admirable in its sentiments, is not a worthy article. Do you print anything that's submitted?
He uses the word "thing" SEVEN times. The article is a grammatical joke. It jerks the reader around. It is self-important, vague, contradictory and garbled as hell, and in general says nothing! This is Comp 101 -- "My Jumbled Feelings about the California Recall" And since it reminds me of a student effort, I'm going to red- pencil it. This stuff is utter crap.
Daniel Patrick Welch should stay in bed next time he gets the urge to write!!!!
Doesn’t anyone remember Arnold Schwarzenegger’s one-liner: “I’ll be back.” Of course you do. That’s because it’s all he’s ever had to say. Let’s just bypass the fact that The Terminator Grope Master was installed by the Bush Administration to secure control over the last of four most populace states to be conquered (Florida, New York and Texas are the others), and take this for what it is, Californians electing him because “it would be neat”!
When I think of terrorism I think of people like Matthew Shepard, Steven Goedereis, Brandon Teena, Charlie Howard, just to name a few, who were brutally murdered because of who they were. This is a form of terrorism.
When I hear people praising Hitler and the Nazis, encouraging the "white race" to fight back and kill all those who don't fit the "aryan theology", this is terrorism.
When people like Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Rush Limbaugh, etc attack and demonize gays and lesbians, women, Bill and Hilary Clinton, and so on, this is terrorism.
Domestic violence and sexual assault, these are also forms of terrorism.
When I read about the thousands of gay youths who endure endless harassment at school, resulting in the too high rate of suicides, this is terrorism.
One of Schwarzenegger's first political moves as the state's chief executive will be an effort to push the state's electricity market closer toward deregulation, a move halted by Gov. Gray Davis two years ago in the wake of California's energy crisis. Schwarzenegger, while on the campaign trail, blamed Davis for his handling of the energy crisis.
Schwarzennegger drafted a comprehensive energy policy, which can be found at www.joinarnold.com/en/agenda/#C1,
that went unnoticed for much of his campaign during the recall election. He said he wants to eliminate public oversight on future power supply contracts the state signs with energy companies and adopt a design plan for deregulating California's electricity market from other states that restructured its electricity markets, such as Texas, New Jersey and Maryland.
