An unprecedented amount of our taxpayer dollars gets funneled to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to carry out Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda. Congress must act.
These rogue agencies have a long history of abuse, violence, and human rights violations – from separation of families to shutting out asylum seekers to raids in our communities. The events of 2020 have only exacerbated matters. CBP agents have been deployed against Black Lives Matter protesters, and horrific accounts of abuse, inadequate COVID-19 precautions, and deaths are being reported in detention centers nationwide. This must stop: Send a message to Congress to divest from ICE and CBP now.

I started working on this cartoon before the events unfolded in Minnesota today. In case you haven't heard yet, ICE has shot a third person today. This is another fatal shooting.
I did not get to dive into the story until after I had completed this cartoon. I had something else occupying my time today as well. When I was finally able to look up, I watched the video.
I saw the video after hearing that the man who was shot had a weapon. At the start of the video, it resembled the Rodney King beating, except Rodney King wasn't shot at the end. It looked like a gang of ICE thugs was holding the man down and beating him. At the end, while still being held down, one of the agents shoots the guy.

ICE has been inflicting a reign of terror in our communities. They are showing us, in real time, what their power looks like: masked agents, raids in our neighborhoods, our families terrorized, and our allies and leaders targeted for standing with immigrant workers. This is not “enforcement.” It’s intimidation. It’s state violence designed to make people keep their heads down and accept the unacceptable.
Join SEIU District 1199 WV/KY/OH, Common Cause Ohio, Indivisible Central Ohio, Ohioans Against Extremism, Ohio Families Unite for Political Action and Change (OFUPAC), other allies and partners, and community members at the High Street side of the Ohio Statehouse at 1 PM to meet history where it stands. We can mourn publicly and organize relentlessly. We can resist authoritarianism without apology, and we can win.
Let’s make it clear to all that when ICE comes for one of us, they answer to all of us.

I do not know why, but this one makes me laugh.
Trump lived up to his reputation of chickening out after threatening to raise tariffs on a nation. It is the reason for the TACO acronym: Trump Always Chickens Out.
Trump threatened to raise tariffs on eight NATO nations unless they would allow Denmark to sell Greenland to him. Never mind that seven of these nations don't have any say in what Denmark does with Greenland, he's gonna punish them anyway. If you ever figure out Trump logic, let me know.
But yesterday, after giving that horrible speech at Davos and proclaiming time and time again that he would settle for nothing less than absolute and outright ownership of Greenland, Donald Trump caved. He lifted the tariffs on the eight nations, saying there is a framework of a deal involving Greenland.

Under the Trump administration, the Department of Homeland Security likes to claim that every immigrant is a criminal. But a new list shows the real criminals work for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Border Patrol. Said Lynn Tramonte, Executive Director of the Ohio Immigrant Alliance, “As the government pushes to hire new agents rapidly, background checks and vetting processes are being tossed aside. How many more predators are in the process of joining these federal agencies? No one knows, and that is terrifying.”

The construction of Anduril’s Arsenal-1 manufacturing facility has drawn together diverse voices in opposition, from environmentalists and affected neighbors to pro-Palestine and anti-war activists.
Join Kat Finneran of No Anduril Plant, Prince Shakur of the Dugout, and Baladna’s Yezen Abusharkh for an inside look at the coalition drawing attention to the plant’s wide-ranging impact.
Imagine your ancestors’ burial sites being concreted over so to make way for a factory that builds killer flying robots. As surreal as this sounds, that is exactly what could happen as defense contractor Anduril, the Pentagon, and certain State of Ohio offices rush to build the Arsenal-1 factory.
Anduril’s autonomous drones may be flying over northern Pickaway County and southern Franklin County within a few short years. The defense contractor coveted the location for Arsenal-1 because it is adjacent to Rickenbacker International Airport, ten miles south of Columbus.
But the mad dash to build Arsenal-1 might not entirely be about defending freedom. It could be about slipping a fast one past our First Nations, who would demand the project be delayed or canceled altogether if Native American burials were discovered.
Global EV Sales Rose 20 percent in 2025
Last year global electric vehicle adoption grew by 20 percent. There was significant growth in every major region except for North America, according to the research firm Rho Motion. Global consumers bought 20.7 million EVs, an increase of 20 percent from the prior year. China accounted for the majority of that total, with 12.9 million cars and light trucks sold within its borders, up 17 percent.
The highest percentage growth was in Europe, which was up 33 percent with 4.3 million in sales. In North America, where the market was hurt by the cancellation of tax credits for EV buyers, sales of new EVs hit 1.8 million, down 4 percent. To put this in perspective, in 2025 approximately 16.2 million light vehicles were sold in the US. EVs accounted for approximately 11 percent of all vehicles sold within that region.

Students All Out January 23! Ice Out Of Minneapolis. Abolish Ice. Fund Free College For All
Trump and his billionaire donors have declared war on working people in the US and around the world. While billionaires hoard wealth, they bankroll cages, deportations, and policing instead of schools, healthcare, and a livable future. We refuse to accept that.
On January 23, a coalition of unions, immigrant rights groups, and community organizations is mobilizing for a one-day strike to shut down ICE. Students everywhere must show up in solidarity with Minneapolis by building for walkouts, rallies and mass marches across the country and making it impossible to ignore.
This is how we build toward a national strike called by unions, to shut down ICE, Trump, and the whole capitalist system.
