In a significant stride towards preserving LGBTQ+ history, Stonewall Columbus is proud to announce acceptance in the Ohio Historical Marker program. The marker aims to honor the rich history and ongoing contributions of Stonewall Columbus to the local community and the broader movement for LGBTQ+ rights across the state.

Wednesday, October 1, 8pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

On the first Wednesday of every month at 8pm (go ahead and mark your calendar), you can spend an hour asking your questions of the author of one of the most useful recent books for progressive activism.

We’ll post information about each upcoming book and author well ahead of time, to give you a chance to acquire and read the book beforehand. Just check teachinnetwork.org/bookclubs.

The Merion Village Association meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month (except in December when the meeting is replaced with a community potluck), beginning promptly at 7pm. Meetings are now hybrid each month and can be attended virtually or in person at the Merion Village Association Info Center. All interested parties are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Join Common Cause Ohio for a tour of the Ohio Statehouse led by iconoclastic Ohio politics blogger D.J. Byrnes, AKA “The Rooster.” This tour will be both historical and contemporary and will give you an inside look at the building where it happens!

Meet in the Map Room (close to the Third St. entrance). We will have options to climb stairs or use elevators (but there will be some walking and standing).
