To commemorate the centennial of the 1921 Tulsa race massacre, graphics editors at The New York Times analyzed archival maps, city directories, census data, newspaper clippings, and survivor accounts to create a 3D model of Greenwood, a prosperous Black neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, destroyed by a violent white mob. The 3D model served as an immersive stage to tell stories of the residents and businesses of Black Wall Street.

Columbus City Council recently released an initial plan to reform the city’s zoning policy. The new policy will rezone some portions of the city, with the goal of making it easier to build more housing and therefore stabilize our growing city’s out-of-control housing costs.
Join us as we welcome Columbus City Council member and Clintonville resident Rob Dorans as he explains the details of the plan and takes your questions.

Parents, child care providers, and child care advocates recently announced coast-to-coast events coinciding with the Day Without Child Care (DWOCC). The DWOCC will be held on May 13, and is designed to build support for fully funded, quality early childhood education and care.
