• Emily Grace, Heer to Serve, a group dedicated to providing food and other resources to the houseless on the city’s west side

• Matina Bliss, houseless advocate

• Winie Wirth, houseless volunteer

A “question-and-answer” period will be included.

Join the Central Ohio Worker Center, community partners, and workers’ rights organizations for a community celebration. We will have free food and drinks, including tacos, kebabs, and ice cream, from several food trucks. Bring the whole family and enjoy face painting, music, dancing, and performances.

The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called “Going to HCCO” and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.

Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.

The Interfaith Association of Central Ohio invites you to a webinar, “Redistricting Reform in Ohio: How It Went Wrong and How the ‘Citizens Not Politicians Initiative’ Will Fix It.”

Richard Gunther, PhD, will discuss gerrymandering:

• How it has damaged the quality of democracy in Ohio,

• How the unsuccessful reforms of 2015 and 2018 were thwarted,

• How the reforms to be decided by Ohio voters in November will attempt to establish fair and competitive districts in the future.
