Join us for Brain Injury Awareness Day, March 14, 2024, at the Ohio Statehouse!
It is time for the General Assembly to address the shortage of services for individuals with brain injury in Ohio. 1.9 million adult Ohioans have experienced a traumatic brain injury in their lifetime.
The current level of state-supported funding to provide community-based brain injury services in Ohio is $550,000 or 5 cents per resident. Compared with our neighboring states, we are grossly underfunded.
